TUESDAY AT MYRTLE BEACH

It was a gorgeous day - the guys didn't go golfing so it was a nice family time at the beach.
Talya wore her little cute watermelon bikini, complete with the floppy hat that Liz Martin provided for her 1st Birthday. It was very cute so we couldn't resist but take 50 million pics that day. She sat on the beach chairs a lot and wanted nothing to do with her kiddie chair, she wanted the grown-ups.

Talya and Savannah with their grown-up chairs and floppy hats...

Mom with Chase....

Mom-mom and Pop-pop with all three grandchildren - some very cute shots....

Now mom-mom with the kids... she has her hands full! and its only going to get worse - in a good way!

Catching some rays on the sand on a hot summers day!

Savannah and Talya playing in the sand together

We took her by the ocean with her beach chair (that she rarely used except for these pictures) to get some nice photos. I was glad they turned out well.... precious moments....

Love her grabbing her feet with her hat blowing back...

"Is this almost over mom so I can go to mom-moms snack bar for a mid-day snack? I'm getting a bit bored."

Daddy and Baby admiring the sea...

Mommy and baby pictures now...

Uncle Jeffrey has to fix Talyas hat since it wasn't on right - such a good Uncle!

Pop-pop built a sand tower and the girls start demolishing - what they do best!

Pop-pop flipped the same bucket he used for the sand tower and used to carry the sand toys to the beach to put it under the sand and fill with water.. so many uses for it!

Later that night after dinner at the condo - we went to "Broadway at the beach" which is a whole huge shopping complex built around a man-made lake with bridges going across and all. It is a upscale boardwalk (way better than the boardwalk) that isn't on the beach. They have so much to do there - you can spend a week-end just there - with kids rides, shops, restaurants, kids stores, typical taffy and fudge shops, aquarium, and Imax theatre, Big fish to feed, boat rides and more. If you go on Tuesday night, like we did, you can catch a fireworks display from the middle of the lake that lasts about 10 minutes. Amazing place!

We just got there from parking and saw a Christian teen club singing and dancing on one of the stages at "Broadway at the beach". It was neat to watch so we stopped and danced for a little while before moving on....

The girls loved it - Savannah and Talya were watching the kids and dancing a lot.

Family pic that evening...

Every year my dad has to stop at this store and watch the guy that stands out front that owns it. He has been there every year in front of the store that we have been there. He seems like he has realy fun with his career, although he admitted to dad that his wife likes the paycheck but is embarrassed to say what he does :) I had to get a picture this year of my dad observing since it is a yearly tradition. The guy stands out there with funny glasses and teeth and farts with his farting can and feels his fake butt glued to his weird boxers and wears big feet as well. He says a lot of funny things as people go past. He is good at what he does!

Got some cute photos that night of Savannah and Jaime - which was very hard to come by on that trip since Savannah didn't want to sit still for pictures at all normally but you wouldn't know it all by this night.
